The most valuable field experience in this course was the Data Overview. During this field experience, I learned how to make predictions about data, I learned about the importance of going visual with my data, what it means to observe data, and what it means to make inferences about data. Since so much of what we do as teachers is data driven, it is very important that we know where to look for relevant data, how to organize it, how to interpret it, how to share it, and how to use it in order to affect positive changes in our school and in the lives of our students.
Everything from this course compliments what we are already doing at my school so I do not foresee any challenges in applying what I have learned in this course to my school. I plan to share all that I have learned with my colleagues in PLs, Professional Developments, Leadership meetings, Faculty meetings, and in teacher one-on-ones.
